| Getting Started... |
| So you want to get a presence on the WWW...There are two things that must happen for you to have a presence on the WWW... |
First thing is to obtain an Internet Service Provider, or ISP that provides space for Web Pages |
If you're already reading this, you've probably got an ISP... but keep in mind that you'll probably need access to their server's programming directories if you want certain capabilities...
(also, some ISPs don't have or allow business related Web Sites...) If your ISP doesn't allow or provide Web Site space, we can arrange for space on our StoreFront with our ISP... |
Secondly, you'll need to Develop and Publish
your Web Pages... |
That's where I can get involved...as a World-Wide-Web (WWW) Site consultant and developer... I can develop (or help you develop) your site that is served by your ISP...Also, you can do it yourself...(it's really not that hard...) Some ISPs provide tools and sets of buttons, bars, etc. But, if you want a more polished look, one that sets itself apart from the rest, I have the tools and the expertise to provide you with a Professional Site... |
I've provided a form where you can obtain
a site estimate to assist you in determining the type of site that would best fit your needs... |
| So there are two costs involved... |
The costs charged to you by your ISP for storing and serving your pages...and other Internet access fees...and
The costs for developing and maintaining your pages... |
I can't do much about the cost of your ISP...but I can help you keep the cost of developing and maintaining your site to a minimum... |
|
Another thing... some development of your pages is dependent on just what your ISP allows, and what your ISP's server supports...so that's what needs to be done first... |
The content of your site is up to you (within guidelines set by your ISP); how it looks is also up to you. Almost anything can be implemented, keeping in mind that some capabilities may not be supported by your ISP... |
Your site can be livened up by customized programming...
|
The size and costs for any site are relative, and will vary based on the complexity desired, graphics, ISP, etc... Our Site Estimate will give you a good idea of what to expect... |
